Pre-CanSkate & CanSkate
Pre-CanSkate and CanSkate is Skate Canada’s flagship learn-to-skate program for beginners of any age that teaches fundamental movements and basic skills in a fun and productive way.

​Star Academy is Skate Canada’s flagship learn-to-skate program for skaters of any age who are transitioning from CanSkate to STARSkate. At this stage skaters begin learning skills in the four fundamental areas: ice dance, skating skills, free skate and interpretive skating.
STARSkate offers opportunities for skaters of all ages to develop fundamental skills in the areas of ice dance, skating skills, free skate and interpretive skating. This program teaches figure skating skills in a group and/or private lesson format.
PowerSkate
CanPowerSkate is an action-packed, high energy instructional power skating program geared to hockey and ringette skaters that focuses on balance, power, agility, speed and endurance.
Please note this is not a beginner program, skates must be able to skate forward, backwards and stop confidently or must have passed Canskate level 3.
